He felt that the summer between junior and senior high school years is a critical turning point in our life. So he designed this week to help us make good choices at this most important juncture by having speakers motivate/instruct us on how to be successful in our life's. Before his death in 2016, Chancellor Runnels left behind two major lessons for us. Lesson #1 V.I.C.E.S VISION - is difference between leaders & followers INTEGRITY - is base line of morality & the foundation of moral compass COURAGE - is letting yourself be heard when it's not easy & none of these 5 points work without courage EDUCATION - is the stepping stone to success SERVICE - What comes around, comes around Lesson #2 This week at YCS will change your life, if you let it.

The Youth Citizenship Seminar is a program designed to
(YCS), is a five-day program designed to stir new career interest for students completing their third year of high school. Through inspiring presentations, interactive workshops, unique break-out sessions, and one-on-one communication with world renowned speakers and leaders from all walks of life, YCS assist today's young men and women in becoming better acquainted with , and motivate them to a more compelling expression of pride in this country. Additionally, YCS offers a unique opportunity for personal growth. Students return home with a renewed sense of purpose, and an understanding of how to put their dreams into action.
